Replacing your Personal Identifier
power cell...
Identity/Sekurit's power cell can
be purchased at most electronic stores, i.e. Longs, Radio Shack, Walmart.
The battery is a type CR2032
or a CR2450 lithium cell. Check
your Owners manual for exact battery type, or open the unit and the
number will be on the battery.
Batteries vary, depending upon
models.
The power cell in your Identity/Sekurit "Personal
Identifier" will need replacing about every 9-12 months with the CR2032
and about 2 years for the CR2450..

The LED on the front of your
"Personal Identifier" will flash when the button is pressed. If
you normally have your identifier set to "motion transmit mode, it will
change to manual mode to give you a heads up. When this occurs, you have
about 50 starts to change the battery.
To
replace your power cell, just remove the two Phillips screws on the back
of your "Personal Identifier",
and remove the battery by pushing
it out with the screwdriver. Before you exchange the Lithium power cells
and screw the case back together be sure to bend down the two tension
tabs located at the top of the battery housing. (Be sure to place the
battery in the "Personal Identifier" with the same side face up) That's
it!
