Motion Transmit Mode -To operate your Sekurit system “hands free”, your Personal Identifier must be set to the “Motion Transmit” mode. If you depress the Sekurit button label, the light illuminates Green.
Manual Mode -requires you to press and release the label. The light shows Red. Once pressed, you have 30 seconds to start the vehicle. This mode prolongs battery life
Changing Modes -To switch between user modes, simply push and hold the button label until the light switches from red to green or vice versa (Approximately 7 seconds).

*The battery life may last from 9 months to as much as 2 years.
*The Personal Identifier conserves battery life when in “Manual Mode”.
*One Personal Identifier can be programmed to many different vehicles for multi-users.
*Each Sekurit system can be programmed with up to 6 Personal Identifiers per vehicle.
*Each Personal Identifier has its own completely unique digital code. (like a fingerprint).
*If your vehicle’s battery goes dead, it will not effect your Sekurit system.
*To test the Sekurit system, take the Personal Identifier (PI) off your key chain or from your
purse and set in on the dash. Wait thirty seconds and try to start the vehicle. The vehicle will not start! Pick up the PI and the vehicle will now start. *Any component we removed to perform the install is placed in your vehicle’s glove box.
One day you will try to start your vehicle and it will not start, don’t panic. Press the label on your Personal Identifier and then start your vehicle. When your battery gets low, the system switches from “Motion Activated” to “Manual Mode”. If you press the label and the light alternates between red and green, you must change the battery immediately!
The CCC is under the hood in the power distribution box or inside the vehicle, under
the dash on the driver’s side.
When we install Sekurit, your original removed component is
placed in the glovebox. In the event of a broken or lost Personal Identifier, this may replace the
CCC to get you started. Hide it in the vehicle.

Battery Replacement
Remove the 2 phillips head screws from theback of the transmitter and slide out the old battery. Push down on the 2 battery holder arms to ensure non movement once the new battery is positioned.
The battery used in the Personal Identifier is a CR2450 Lithium cell. It may be purchased at many stores. Radio
Shack, Longs Drug and
Walmart.
